As a proud parent of two and a lover of themed socks and cake, she focuses on bringing parents together to build a vibrant community where happy kids thrive. She’s excited to see what the 2026–27 school year will bring!
Rick Moy
Howdy! I’m Rick and my daughter is Orian who is in Grade 6. I’m a graphic artist/semi-retired BBQ competitor/Burnaby native/dog person/snowboarder. Please say hi and introduce yourself if you see me at school!
Curtis Moody
Hi, I’m Curtis! I’m a software developer and the DPAC Representative for Montecito. I have two sons, Finn and Owen. Finn is in Grade 2 and Owen is in daycare. I run the PAC Website and I love complaining about private schools being publicly funded!
Hunny Deo
I am a proud mom who loves being involved at Montecito Elementary School and cheering on not just for my own kids, but for all the kids in our school. I enjoy helping with school events and try to be there as much as I can. As a co-treasurer, I am here to support our PAC and help make school an even better place for our kids to learn, laugh, and grow!
York Cheng
Hi! I’m York, parent of Ally (Grade 6 for 2026/27) and Asher (graduated from Montecito in 2025). I first joined the PAC executive team as the District PAC representative in 2024 and moved on to become the co-treasurer since 2025. I love chilling at work and working hard when I play. I have a long list of hobbies including sailing and golf for Spring and Summer, skiing for Winter and basketball all-year round. I’m a volunteer coach/team manager with the South Burnaby Metro Club (SBMC) Basketball, Let’s go Eagles (and Mustangs)!
Margaret Kirkby
I’m Maggie! Mama of two very busy, sweet boys who keep life messy, loud and very entertaining, proud PAC Co-Secretary, and professional email-sender. I’m married to my incredibly supportive husband who helps keep us all somewhat organized most days. (Shawn says hi!) Powered by fresh air, baseball practices, hikes, good laughs, and a soft spot for every dog I meet. Between school schedules, activities, snack negotiations and trying to remember where I put my coffee, I somehow ended up here - and I’m so happy to be a part of this amazing school community. I’m looking forward to another year of helping to keep things running smoothly, sharing updates, volunteering for field trips and hot lunch days, making posters, and connecting with all of you. Here for the kids ♥️

Entering my third year as a PAC member, I’ve really enjoyed working with other parents to enhance our children’s experience at school. My favorite PAC meetings are those with lots of laughs (and snacks!).

👋 Hi, I’m Susan! I help with the school newsletter and have three kids at Montecito—Aari in Kindergarten, Remy in Grade 2, and Mia in Grade 5. I enjoy being part of the PAC and working alongside other parents to help bring fun, memorable experiences to our school community!

Ana Keseric
Hi, my name is Ana! I’m a mom of three boys (and proud auntie to two nephews) at our wonderful school. I’ve been involved with PAC for the past few years and have always loved volunteering, helping out, and bringing positive energy to our school community. Last year, I became an Educational Assistant in Burnaby School District, which has made me even more passionate about supporting children and helping create a warm, inclusive, and happy environment for all students and families.
